Will we see a marked improvement in some of our players (#2373) Just a thought, will the likes of Babel, and any of the other players who needed to be told how good they are and can be, with the new management team now in place can Roy Hodgson get the best out of some of the players who were a bit of down last season. Rafa for all his management skills, apparently he man management skills were not to put it bluntly up to scratch from what has come out of Melwood, if Roy tends to be the father figure and mentor who will put his arm around a player and show him he is interested, and give them the confidence some of them need it could make the difference. Look what he did with Fulham last season who lets face it are an average side. Please comments on this one would be welcome could be a good discussion topic "I think it will be the difference we will see in some players this coming season". |

When i heard that Hodgson was the new No.1, I admit i was not happy. But every day my confidence is growing. I think he will play people in the right position and the likes of Babbel and Lucas will shine with a more understanding manager. Yeah i think everyone will raise their game and although i am not dillusioned enough to say we will win the league, i wont write it off either. the sun is coming out over Anfield road, now just get rid of those yanks and get the new owners in for great times ahead

Well said dibby! I too am more confident with what our new gaffer can do! He's proven to be a very good people person..... a manager needs to establish a good relationship with all his players to get the best out of them....and I believe Roy Hodgson can do it! YNWA!
