Tactics what is going wrong

Tacticaly woy hasnt got a clue,all over the pitch we were outplayed for our personel not all playing in there natural positions, personally for me mavinga would of been at lb as carra got destroyed, we need a massive overhaul of our squad as this is the only couple of players that would make it for me

AS YOU MAY OF NOTICED IVE LEFT PLAYERS LIKE TORRES OUT AS HE NEVER FIT SO THERE NOT MUCH POINT IN KEEPING HIM I WOULD SELL HIM AND TrY TO GET 35-40 MILL(if were lucky) AND REPLACE HIM WIV TWO

but for what? Sellling him to get more money to do what? The only problem is that everyone in the team is lost, nobody know where to go... Roy doesn't know how to manage, the team don't know how to score, the owners don't know shit about anything...
We don't need money, we need quality from the top!

Wow all sorts of emotions coming out from people whom I thought wouldn't be saying such things! That only proves how passionate we are about our team! The same goes for me! I just wish that the gaffer would get it f#@*%#* right the first time! The problem is he always play a game of two halves! The first half would be dreadful and plainly sickening and when we are down he comes out with another gameplan in the second half that actually works! The damn bloody thing about it this time was that he ran out of time and we lost to a team we ordinarily would be able to beat. To have lost at "fortress" Anfield made it doubly worse!
I put the blame not only on the gaffer but also to the entire management who for some God forsaken reason has chosen to drag on with the sale. Again I question the pace that the sale is going at because in this day and time it shouldn't take long to find out whether a buyer is genuinely able to buy and do the things that they are supposed to do!
All these problems have been going on for far too long and we the fans will not take it any longer! Some kind of positive action must be taken to pacify the angry fans! All is yet not lost because as I have said before it is still early days yet. Only 7 games and another 30 odd games to go! We can still come back from the brink! Please we want Our Old Liverpool back! This is not the Liverpool that we know and love! YNWA!

I have been a Liverpool fan for as long as i've been interested in footbal(25 years)l, not only because of the style of football, but what the club stands for and believes in. Honest hard working values that echo around the world. It absolutely guts me to see what is happening to the club. In my opinion there is a range of reasons for the clubs dimise. Firstly theres no getting away from the fact Football has changed since our past glory days, were you need money to compete for the titles and we certainly havent got that. I know people can point to how much previous managers have had to spend over the years compared to other clubs, but our spending seems to be on a second tier range of signings rather than the world class players available other the years. This will cause debate but we have maybe had world class players but were they world class when they were bought? Which means some of the money we have spent has to guarantee the player produces. Gone are the days of the 70's 80's when a player was bought, played in the reserves for a year to learn the Liverpool way then introduced to the 1st team.Theres immediate presure to produce. And the standards Liverpool have set over the years means some players just can't produce. Down the road the scum(man Utd) have spent crazy money and wasted a lot and they can afford or could afford to rite it off. Fergie is going to go down in public perception as one of the great managers of all time cos of his success, but were has Shanks and Paisley built and nurtured teams, he has just splashed cash on the best players avilable. My point to all this is Liverpool for years have under achieved when it comes to the league because they just havent been good enough. Even though there was the Istanbul miracle, fa Cup and a second place finish, to many players have snuck into the Liverpool shirt who arent worthy of the legendry status it carries. Please don't carry blinkers but would honestly some of the players of Istanbul get into your 3 top squads of LFC of all time? I just question if Roy Hodgson would have been offered the job if we had new owers and cash to splash? I aint saying he aint the rite man for the job, I just think the old saying springs to mind you can only work with what you have got, you can't polish a turd! The signings he has made have been to bolsture the squad in my opinion cos it was looking thin. But not to seriously push us foward. With maybe the exception of Cole. Think of this list of players to exit us over the last few years. Mascherano, Alonso, Benayou, Crouch, Keane, Bellamy, Hyypia, Risse, Finnan, have we replaced any of these? To compete with the top 4. My opinion is we need new owners at least 6 new WORLD CLASS players, a shift of all the deadwood, then lets look at new stadiums. It kills me to think there is a generation who have only heard of the great Liverpool traditions but haven't experienced it.

seems like all ther players are doing the mark anthony speech from julius ceaser as far as roy is concerned. The "we are all finding it difficult to learn the managers new system so have faith while we learn "routine looks like a veiled "dont blame us blame the idiot manager for his crazy ideas" statement. he does not seem to have the dressing room.

well its quite simple to understand that you play ur best 11 in there best positions its not rocket science and now that it looks very likely that we have new owners my only hope is they dont do a city and just spend lots of cash and dont have a clue. personally we need about 5 quality players who are going to put in a shift not sulk like torres when he dont get his way
