This game had it all.- bad hair cuts, lawerenson and hansen in defence Dalglish and Rush up front for Liverpool what a team we had! Linekar up front for Everton. This was the first merseyside derby FA cup final, and it was won by the Reds. Everton scored in the first half and were a constant threat. Liverpool finally got it together in the second half, when the goal Machine that was Ian Rush scored twice, and Craig Johnston scored the other one. What a season, we won the double, and what a night out it was, from pub to pub we went, i can still remember it as if it was yesterday

It was a black day for the club when my first idol left for Hamburg (Kevin Keegan) 14 August 1971 Keegan made his Liverpool debut against Nottingham Forest at Anfield he scored after just 12 minutes what a player. His partnership with Toshack was the best in the country, if not the world. Who knew, that his last season (1976-1977) would signal the start of an increasable era for the club, the supporters, and the country. Yes King Kenny is my idol and of all the ex-players, he is the one I would most like to meet, League and European Cup in his first season, we have had some great players over the years that I have supported the Reds, but no one comes close to Kenny Dalglish

suehaime Yes, I've been saying it all along! Let Pacheco have a try as aack-u striker! He has more passion and didn't he win a golden boot award in a European youth tournament recently playing for Spain? I hope we play him soon before he asks for a transfer and we lose another gem! mostin Ngog or how ever you spell it was rubbish again, if he is still here this time next year i will eat my hat. 2 realy bad games on the trot, why not give the Spainish lad a go cant be much worse, you never know he may be able to hit the ban door that ngog mist so offten. the 28-02-2011 at 12:43

suehaime Yes, I agree that it was generally a poor game for us! But I suppose we have to take in our stride and take the good out of the bad! At least it showed certain weaknesses which I'm sure Kenny would have noted down and hope rectify! Basically I personally feel that some of our players were not up to mark! Poulsen, Lucas and a few others were bad! If only we had more players like Suarez. For me he was man-of-the-match! YNWA! the 28-02-2011 at 11:35
