Raul meireles' stab in the back!

Once again I just can't help that we have just been stabbed in the back by another player who wanted to go to Chelsea! It is very frustrating to acknowledge the fact that just like Torres, Meireles handed in a late request for transfer....even later than Torres!

What makes me sad is that the transfer request came about when we were on a high! The team was doing very well and new good players were coming in. If for one minute Meireles thinks that he will have a lot more playing time at Chelsea perhaps he should think again!  Chelsea has already got a set of established midfielders of its own. A new player would take some time to establish himself.

I really hope that our second Judas (not counting a certain Mr. Owen) going to Chelsea will have as much playing time and success as the first Judas. But as some wise person had said somewhere, we should value and care for the players who want to stay and play for Liverpool, as Maxi Rodriguez said earlier that he was going to stay and fight for a place in the team! That is the kind of fighting spirit we should expect from our players.

For those who don't have the desire to play for us, I say good riddance...pack up your bags and leave! There you have it guys, how I feel about the Meireles back-stabbing last minute incident.
