Liverpool in talks for Lavezzi

Liverpool have been monitoring Napoli striker Ezequiel Lavezzi for a year, claims the player’s agent.

Lavezzi’s representative Jose Alberti admits a move to Merseyside is on the cards for the 25-year-old this summer.

Alberti revealed: “Lavezzi has been followed by Liverpool for twelve months and they could make a bid for his services.

“Napoli must be careful not to lose a player like Lavezzi.”

The Argentine has racked up six goals and 11 assists during 27 league appearances this term.
