If Portsmouth win the cup, European football places will go to the top seven. This is because with the difficulties Portsmouth have had, they didn't apply for European football for next season, so even if they win, they cannot take their European place.

I still believe that we will be in Europe next season! We must begin this quest by winning all the remaining matches starting with the match against West Ham! It's a shame that we should come to this situation. What's important is that we should not let this repeat itself next season!

In all honesty this club will only go one way..." and that is forward" in Europe and the prmeirship Because now it is more solid and closer together than ever before. And that is only through the solidarity of its Team and supporters.... and to hell with the YANKS. (WE WILL NEVER WALK ALONE)

West Ham are always a difficult team to play against.
The three points we need are not going to be easy

With the club put up for sale this week, Liverpool fans will be hoping the 2009/10 season can quickly be consigned to the past. Champions League qualification looks unlikely and that, for Liverpool, represents a miserable campaign.
Liverpool need to win their remaining games - including the visit of leaders Chelsea - to have any chance of snatching fourth place. Manager Rafa Benitez could be forgiven for making Thursday's Europa League semi-final against Atletico Madrid his priority.
West Ham are fighting for survival at the other end of the table but have found some form recently. Unbeaten in April, they have inched four points above the relegation zone.
As with Liverpool, there could be big changes at West Ham in the summer, with manager Gianfranco Zola's future unclear. "My focus is to get them [West Ham] safe and then we will see what happens," he told Five Live this week.
