It is going to be difficult, because the Gunners are very strong, we are going to suffer. Nonetheless go LIVERPOOL!

Certainly a very interesting start to our season.
It should be a good game.

Arsenal will be without two of their regulars.... sorry, can't remember who right now. Sure it would be a tough game as every other game in the EPL would be. However there shouldn't be any reason why we should not win this one because like every other team you start with a clean slate for the new season. our team looks a lot stronger than last season and also a little bit more well balanced. I'm quite sure we'll have this one in the bag..... after a hard game! YNWA!

well after watching the game and seeing coles sending off about 15 times i must be seeing tings as there is no way should he of went, but all that aside wat a good game we came under a lot of pressure but i think we responded well and the early signs are there that we will do well in future games. we all knew it would be a hard game and it proved just that, well done ngog wiv a quality finish but the man we never see have a stumble had a shocker for about 5 seconds but we will forgive one blip ain the season and onwards and upwards for us bring on europa n shitty as seeing them against the spurs they never looked that good and i fancy our chances with a 3-0 win, as for the bullshit rumours linking us to cole and berami please noooooooooooo the 22mill it would cost try to get bent or if not remy, ruiz or gignac could do a hell of a lot worse

First half I thought it was going to be more of the same from last season. Can anybody explain Joe Cole being sent off though? I have seen it from umpteen different angles and whilst it looks clumsy I'm not sure it's a red card. Second half was much better, altogether playing with much more conviction. Sad for Pepe who hardly ever makes mistakes but...these things happen. One thing, seeing injured Agger stumbling on the touchline desperate to get back on the pitch although quite obviously he was not fit to do so, was heartening, seeing that much enthusiasm from a player is always good for us fans.
A good start to the season.
It'll take a while to get used to watching man marking again
instead of the zonal system !

yeah this man markong is a breath of fresh air we needed as we looked reasonably strong at set pieces now we just need to get someone who can be dangerous in opposition area at set plays as we dont score no where near enough from corners

Last season if we had gone a goal down our team would have crumbled! I'm glad that the fighting spirit is back in our team. There were long moments which saw us actually getting the better chances even though we were playing with ten men! On that point it should not have been 10-men! Joe Cole had an impeccable record prior to this game. He was known as Mr. Clean! At best he should have been given the yellow card because there was nothing malicious in his tackle!
The whole team can be considered as heroes because they played with and for Liverpool pride! Pepe was unlucky to have let the goal in after having made some fantastic saves earlier! Agger didn't want to go off and leave us with 9 men even though he had a concussion. The whole backline were very resilient in their game! Even Mascherano who had spoken of wanting to go to another country played his heart out! There is definitely a greater hope this year that we would definitely be doing very much better this season than last season! We are proud of you boys..... the best news of all is that Torres made his debut albeit in the last 20 minutes but he showed signs that the Torres of Old is back! YNWA!
