Lille: No Liverpool or Man City bids for Hazard

Lille have denied receiving any interest from Liverpool and Manchester City over star midfielder Eden Hazard.

Hazard's mercurial dribbling skills helped his side to a league and cup double last season and made the 20-year-old a Youtube star with videos of his talents getting thousands of viewings.

Lille lost striker Gervinho to Arsenal this week and did not want to lose another key player, especially with Champions League football awaiting them in the coming campaign.

Manager Rudi Garcia told RMC Sport: "We have not received any formal offer for Hazard, not from France or England. At the moment there is nothing happening and next season he will play with us in the Champions League.

"It's an important element for the team and we hope to progress with him. For Lille this is great news."
