philltubman well if we can pay torres the same in wages for the same amount of games then why no joe cole, not only would he boost our english players but would add real quality to our team he is simply brilliant, yeah we would get him on a bosman so it would be a cheap and brilliant coup if we could sign him now, SIGNING OF THE SEASON.

MerseyMike I'd have him! We'd probably get him on the cheap too. With Riera and Benayoun on their way, Cole would be the perfect replacement.

johnwilso86 Rumour has been going around for months although I like his style of football " the story is he has the same problems Micheal Owen had with injuries" play six os severn games then sidelined for say six weeks is he worth the money they will ask for him??

suehaime He will be under the Bossman ruling at the end of this season and being way down in the pecking order feels that he would like to move on to another team. It would cost nothing in transfer fees but to pay him the equivalent of what he was getting at Chelsea would cost about 120 thousand quid per week. The only snag is that he might prefer Champions League football next season while we are only in the EEuropa League. Please somebody correct me if I'm wrong! YNWA!
