Investors bid for control of Reds

The Reporter Help

We have renewed the Rumours and Transfers and from now on it will be known as The Reporter.

New changes:

You have the section divided into rumours and pieces of news. You can add photos to the news and rumours. If look carefully, each news that contains an image will have a small icon next to it referring to the image.

Classification of news and rumours:

The classification of news and rumours will be based on two criteria: number of votes and ancestry. The latest and the most voted news and rumours will be displayed on the top. If for example you observe that at the end of one week a news or rumour a lot of votes goes below another article with less votes it will be because it is not so new. In any case you can choose between looking at it in this order, only the latest, the most commented on or only news or rumours.

How do I upload a news?

Inside the section, on the left you will find the "Upload news" botton.

How do I upload a rumour?

Inside this section, on the left you will find the "Upload rumour" botton.

How do I vote for a news or a rumour?

You only have to click on the arrows beside it. The green one means you like it amd the red one (by now it is only available for the users with highest rank) means you don't like it.

Investors bid for control of Reds

PIECE OF NEWS

A FIRM bid to buy a major stake in Liverpool fc could lead to other offers from around the world arriving within weeks.

American co owners Hick,s and Gillette are now deciding wether to dilute their controversial ownership of the Reds after the club received a formal offer of more than £100 million in fresh investment.

THE OFFER- a Strategic long- term plan put forward by the Rhone group- is being seen as a £110m plus vote of confidence in Liverpool f.c and its future. Fund executives have been in talks with the Reds for a number of weeks and have now put together an offer that would see them take a 40% stake in the club.

But the Echo munderstands hopes are now high at A NFIELD THAT THIS NEW BID- FOR WHAT COULD ACTUALLY TURN OUT TO BE A CONTROLLING INTEREST IN LIVERPOOL _ MAY SEE OTHER POTENTIAL INVESTORS ALSO COMING FORWARD AND PUTTING THEIR CARDS ON THE TABLE.

suehaime Hope your second half of the report is true and there we will get the interests of other investors. The Rhone group interest is a bit scary because then we would have three groups of yanks up our street! Two is bad enough! We need investors who know and appreciate football..... the yank version of football is where a group of players rough up each other to get a rugby shaped ball to the end zone! the 15-03-2010 at 16:34
