Fernando José Torres Sanz (born March 20, 1984, Fuenlabrada, Madrid, Spain), better known as Fernando Torres or "El Nino" in Spain, and "The Kid" in England, is a Spanish footballer. It plays as a striker and currently plays for Liverpool FC in the Premier League.

He began his career in the ranks of Atletico Madrid. In 2001 he made his league debut with the first team, he scored 75 goals in 174 games.
