I'm going to talk about my team: Atlético de Madrid

 Atletico de Madrid was founded in 1903 by a group of basque engineers, the intention of this foundation was to be  a sucursal of the athletic bilbao team.

This was the first atletico's  shield     And the first "stadium"

After a few years later atletico madrid independized from the Bilbao's club with this new shield and new shirt:

                                the shirts where purshaded in Sunderland after the holidays of one club's member

         Atlético de Madrid was one of the few teams that contribute in the creation of the Spanish league in 1929 with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Bilbao, and also one of the first to win it.

         During the civil war, Atlético de Madrid's stadium was destroyed and lot of money went lost, so after the conflict, atlético joint the National Aviation Forces, who's money favorated the team to build another stadium, The Metropolitano:       And to win the first titles, at that time atlético was considered the Govern team, although Franco was a Real Madrid fan

ATLÉTICO AVIACIÓN SHIELD WAS THIS:              

In this phase, atlètico wan 2 consecutive leagues.

Atlético de Madrid was now considered a great football club. They changed again and (last) the shield

 In 1975 we wan the "INTERCONTINENTAL" trophy, although we never wan a Champions League, we where runners-up and Bayern Munich deny to dispute it. We are with Real Madrid the only team to win it.

Before that we where winners of the "Cup winners cup" against Fiorentina.

At 1971 we moved to our actual stadium: Vicente Calderón  

 Here we wan the "Double" in 1996, league and cup the same year:

  Atletico de madrid TROPHY BOARD IS:

9 LEAGUES. 1939, 1940, 1949, 1950, 1965, 1969, 1972, 1976, 1996. we are the third club with more leagues.

9 SPANISH CUPS. 1959, 1960, 1964, 1971, 1975, 1984, 1990, 1991, 1995. we are the fourth club with more cups.

3 SPANISH SUPERCUPS. 1940, 1950 ,1984

1 INTERCONTINENTAL. 1975

1  UEFA CUP WINNERS CUP. 1961

  We are considered the 3rd club, behind Real Madrid and Barcelona...

...But our fans are the best ones.

We are proud of being SPANISH and proud of being Atletico supporters

 We called ourselves INDIANS because our stadium is located in Madrid's south  

 When we win a title we celebrate it in the Neptuno fountain in the centre of Madrid
