Aquilani's debut

If we talk about his REAL debut, I must say it was the other day's. He played from the beginnig and I think he wasn't substituted until the very end of the match. He played GREAT. he did not scored but he did amazing things and... we won 2-0: did it happen by chance??

His premiere was extraordinary with the Liverpool. He has looked like to me a great player, and time to the time. It has to plunder the pace of the team, in all that it plunders it we will have another killer in the team.

we all wish so... we'll be in trouble if he's not what we expected. But let's say it: he'll do great thinks, I'm sure!

Aquilani has always been a quality player but due to his injuries have had not such a great impact on the game just yet. I'm sure in due time with more game under his belt he will surely improve and reach his peak form. I really believe that he will be a player on par with Xabi Alonso and I won't be surprised if he were to surpass Alonso's ability. Just remember that when Alonso came over to Anfield he took some time to become the player that he is right now! Aquilani will need time and I suppose that he wasn't played earlier because Rafa wanted him to be 100% cured of his injuries. One word of advise to all Liverpool fans, please be patient with Aquilani... give him time and he will proove his worth many times over... of that I'm very sure!

Aquilani was bought when he was injured, yes but he has signed a long contract of about 5 years! He is more of a player for the team of the near future. You have to see the positive side of everything..... everything happens for a reason and the reason hopefully will be made known to us really soon!
