Andy Carrol £35 Million do you think thats to much, i certaily do.
On Sunday Andy made is debut in my opinion i do not think he was good enough to be worth £35 Million however he might prove himself to be one of the best players liverpool has ever had.
A year ago today Andy was only worth £1million and to buy him for £35 million is a bit to much.
So im going to leave you wirth this questio
Do you think he is going to prove himself to be worth £35Million or do you think he will be a flop and liverpool will have wasted all that money when they could of bought a better more experinced player?

Cost is relative to product. with the changes coming in over the amount of home grown players allowed in a squad, then we had to act now. He is English and young and a full international who doesnt look out of place on the international scene. Was Judas worth £50 mill to chelski? Bear in mind the British record prior to Andy was old Rio coke head at Man utd. Was he worth the amount of money paid? If we didnt get Andy now then perhaps come the summer he would have gone elsewhere and we would be kicking ourselves. Is anyone worth £35 million to kick a ball about, that opens a whole new debate, all about supply and demand.
If he scores the goals to take us to glory in the next few seasons he will be worth every penny in my opinion but with the money in the kittty from the sale of judas and combine that with what we paid for Suarez, the two of them together cost the owners £15 million. Good business in my mind but only time will tell. YNWA

Why question something which is a done deal! I think it's wrong for us to question whether a certain player is worth the money spent or not! This will only create ill feelings not only among the supporters but also with the player! Kenny bought him for that amount because he thought it was worth it and that's that! No more questions should be asked! Besides Andy is young and will be paying back the club with plenty of dividends! He showed his capability in the second half of the Braga game. I'm happy and so should all other Liverpool fans. No more of this please! It's bad enough that we've got to endure bad news reports from reporters but coming from a Liverpool fan it's a little bit too much! YNWA!

Yes I'm sorry but im just wondering what would you do if you were in Kenny's seat? would you of bought Andy for as much as £35million?

Well we all know the events that brought about the 35 million purchase. If I were in the same seat I suppose I would have done the same thing! We were in need of a good striker and like it or not Andy's first few games played in the premiership was quite impressive! If I'm not mistaken he had scored about 11 goals by that time! I suppose in the long run he's going to be worth a lot more! YNWA!

it's ok man we're just talking nobody is being offended!
things have been said already, he's young and powerful, will definitely be a England international for a long while and we needed a striker with his skills to partner with Suarez. 35 million is a huge price but again Newcastle had turned down an offer by Tottenham which was worth something like 30? am I wrong? they wouldn't sell him for less then.. all we can say is wait until he's perfectly fit he'll show what he's capable of, I'm happy we signed the best striking talent in England that's something nobody would argue with since numbers speak for him. Wilshere and Carroll are the best talents so far this year, I envy Arsenal they've got a boy with balls in the midfield, but we've got a force of nature up front

you all thought i was speaking rubbish.. look now

Well Kenny he is slowly improving...with Suarez and Gerrard partnering Andy more frequently he is getting back his confidence. Personally I feel that he was not doing well earlier on because of all the crap he had been reading about himself written by fans and foes alike. But as I said earlier you can see him improving as he gets back his confidence!
