Agger won't play Slovakia

Liverpool FC defender Daniel Agger has been sent back to Melwood and will not take part in Denmark’s friendly with Slovakia on Tuesday.

Agger who on his last couple of outings with Denmark has returned injured will not be risked in a friendly match instead he will be given a full week to prepare for LFC’s next match against WBA.

Danish national coach Morten Olsen said “Daniel has previously been unfortunate to come home from national team sessions with injuries. It will not be the case this time. We would like to rest Daniel while helping Liverpool, so now we let him go home.”
