BackNow I took this piece of news with tongue in cheek because it came from The Sun, Monday 9th of August issue. But really there has been a drought of news on the sale bidders that i had to hope and believe in this one:
"THE Chinese investors desperate to take over Liverpool will set the wheels in motion by tabling an official offer early this week.Kenny Huang, the businessman whose QSL Sports Ltd company fronts the plan, will make a £400million bid.
And that could spark an auction for England's most successful club.
Other interested parties like Yahya Kirdi's Syrian consortium and American equity firm The Rhone Group would then be duty bound to show their hand.
Yet it is unlikely anything will be completed before the end of the transfer window, leaving boss Roy Hodgson to rely on cut-price deals and cash from sales to strengthen his squad.
Huang would co-run Liverpool with fellow businessman Guang Yang.
China Investment Corp, the government's sovereign wealth fund, would take a passive interest in the daily management.
Co-owner Tom Hicks wants £600m-800m for the club he and George Gillett bought three years ago and who they sent £237m into debt."
Now, lets hope that this will start the ball rolling and get us new owners before the transfer window closes. If not then we'll have to look forward to the winter transfer window!

ryscem I see this as the only way forward For LFC. Kenny huang seems to be the only one with the proof of funding so lets do it for our clubs sake. YNWA

philltubman surely now he has tabled the rest will walk as it dont look like they have the funds, now broughton has to keep to his word and just sell to huang b4 the window closes and give roy some cash to spend on a big player

johnwilso86 Kenny huang is the best option by far, I ncidently if the club is not sold by the end of August then the bank R,B,S CAN AND WILL TAKE OVER THE OWNERSHIP OF THE CLUB. That would effectly make the tax payers in G.B The new owners because the goverment own 70% f the bank when they bailed them out.So it is in the interests of the Yanks to get this done ASAP The Yanks want the Syrian connection for a higher profit return were as the rest of the board are looking at the clubs long term future I/E KENNY HUANG. well lets hope it is the latter and the sooner the better.
